The Marheineke market hall in Berlin-Kreuzberg stands for 2,500 square metres of exclusive freshness, providing a range of high quality meats, cheeses, milk, bread, fish, juices, fruits, vegetables and flowers. Everything is of exquisite quality, much of it produced organically and regionally. It also offers specialties from Italy, Greece, Spain and the Arab countries.

Its culinary offerings also provide something for every taste: During the summer season an organic ice cream parlour offers its fine ice cream creations. Alongside a wine shop, the market boasts international snack bars, cosy cafés and the Matzbach restaurant with its terrace overlooking the lively and idyllic Marheinekeplatz.

The market hall’s offerings are rounded off by crafts and services, including a lock and key service, a cobbler, a bookshop and much more. A variety of high-quality art exhibitions and the “multicult fm” radio station make the Marheineke market hall into a cultural experience that can be felt far beyond the “Bergmannkiez” neighbourhood.

With its light-flooded and hospitable atmosphere, the market hall is not only a shopping paradise but also a unique community forum. Up to 13,000 guests visit our market hall every day and we look forward to welcoming you too.
